Courtois: 'Liverpool fans must forgive Trent'

Real Madrid's experienced goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois made some remarkable remarks about his teammate Trent Alexander-Arnold after the Champions League match against Liverpool.

Speaking about the Liverpool fans' reaction to Trent, Courtois said: 'I understand the Liverpool fans, they wanted Trent to be like Steven Gerrard, their son who only plays for them. But we all have different dreams and Trent wanted to play for Real Madrid. I think he did his best for Liverpool and I hope they will forgive him in the future.
