Italian Serie A side Genoa have announced the appointment of 42-year-old Italian coach Daniele De Rossi as technical director.
Italian team Genoa announced that Daniele De Rossi has been appointed as technical director in place of Patrick Vieira, who has left his post.

In a statement released by the club, it was reported that the new coach met with the players in the team and will attend the training to be held at the Signorini Sports Center later in the day.
Daniele De Rossi was last in charge of Roma and averaged 1.7 points in 30 games.
